Kenneth “Stank” L. Moody May 13, 1964 – June 18, 2026
Kenneth L. Moody, affectionately known as “Stank,” was born on May 13, 1964, in Rochester, New York, to Clifton Moody, Sr. and Mary Rutledge Moody. Stank was known for his infectious humor, his generous spirit, and the way he made every room brighter simply by being in it. A man of many talents, he touched countless lives with his kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for those around him.
On June 18, 2026, Stank peacefully departed this life at Strong Memorial Hospital. He leaves to cherish his memory his only son, Kenneth Jamar Moody; five grandchildren; his loving parents, Clifton Moody & Mary Rutledge Moody; five sisters; Patricia Moody (Rochester, New York), Charlene Moody (Charlotte, North Carolina), Siree Vennor, Ciara Dattilo and Sabrina Dattilo all of Rochester, New York; five brothers; Jonathan Rutledge (Columbia, South Carolina) Donovan Moody, Jessie Moody, Larry Blue all of Rochester, New York and Clifton Moody Jr (Atlanta, Georgia); and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM (Visitation from 11:00 AM to Noon) at Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church, 111 Clifton Street, Rochester, NY 14611. Private interment.

To the Moody Family, we were practically raised in the same home, from Merrimac Street to 3rd/4th Street. We have remained family through it all. You will deeply missed. Fast forward, over 55 years of friendship and family and we are still riding together.

Kenneth “Stank” L. Moody will be remembered with love from family and all who had the blessing of knowing him. Although I didn’t have the chance to know him well, I deeply respect the life he lived and the impact he had on so many people around him.
It’s clear from the love expressed by his family that Kenneth carried a strong presence—one filled with humor, generosity, and warmth that stayed with people long after he left the room. That kind of impact is rare, and it speaks to the kind of man he was.
My heart goes out to his son, grandchildren, parents, siblings, and all who loved him most. May you find comfort in your memories of him and strength in one another during this time.

Good morning family. Today is the day the Lord has allow each of us to awaken. Giving us the ability to love, uplift and encourage one another in unity to celebrate the life of “Stank”. Let’s take this time to relish and reflect in the memories he brought into each of our lives. To Aunt Mary. I know your heart is heavy, but the Lord is your peace and inner strength. Continue to put your trust in him and embracec his unwavering love. He will comfort you through this difficult time.
