Gerardo “Gerry” Vazquez
Retired RPD Officer passed away unexpectedly on August 12, 2023 at the tender age of 57. Gerry is predeceased by his father Abraham. Survived by his loving mother Cristina Vazquez, siblings Reinaldo Vazquez; Gloria (John) Cruz; Iris (Wilson) Burgos; Tony Vazquez; and Abraham Vazquez Jr. He is also survived by Linda Rivera; Milagros Rodriguez; Cecilia Maldonado, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Thursday 4-8pm at Dierna Funeral Home 2309 Culver Rd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 11am at St. Michael’s Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

I am so very sorry to hear of Gerry’s passing. We knew each other as kids, we went to the same high school (Edison) and Gerry dated one of my dearest, best friends in high school.
