Giusephina was born in April 1934 in Italy. At the age of 18 she moved with her family to Canada where she resided until marrying and moving to Rochester. It is here that she raised her children John (Alyson) and Elizabeth (Charles), who have always been her greatest joy and first priority. Her family’s well-being and happiness were the source of her greatest happiness. Giusephina also leaves behind 4 grandchildren, Christina, Victoria, Katie, and Daniel. She adored them, was so very proud of each of them, and took immense pleasure in watching them grow.

Giusephina was a very talented seamstress, cook, and gardener. She loved preparing incredible holiday meals and so many Sunday dinners for her family. She made beautiful clothing straight from her imagination and often made clothing fit perfectly and look amazing. She was equally talented with her vegetable and flower gardens, often losing herself in the joy of puttering all day in them. Her beauty was reflected in her flowers.

Giusephina was strong in her faith and believed in the power of prayer. We are certain that God has opened his arms to our beautiful and beloved mother and that He is caring for her now.

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So he put His arms around you
And whispered “Come to me. ”
With tearful eyes we watched you
As you slowly slipped away
And though we loved you dearly
We couldn’t make you stay.
Your golden heart stopped beating
Your tired hands put to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.

Thomas J. Pinzon

Passed peacefully October 17, 2022 at the age of 62. He is predeceased by his mother Tina N. Pinzon. Survived by his father Simon B. Pinzon. Siblings, Elaine(Angel)Ramos, Richard(Julie Coppola)Pinzon, Suzanne Sullivan, Sandra(John Barco)Blood, Gary(Tracy)Putz; loving uncles, niece and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. Lifelong best friends, John Pinzon, Tom Scheurer, Peter VanderLeer and Tim Perkins.
Tom was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. Always caring for Mom and Dad. Never complaining, just doing. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or listen whenever needed. Always very protective, loyal and caring for his family, especially his siblings. He wanted us all to be safe and happy. A man of few words, expressing them in such a large way! Tom was happy if you were happy. He enjoyed cooking and baking. His lasagna, cakes and brownies were not only delicious, but big like Tom’s heart. We will miss his fluffy pancakes, made for weekend morning visits. Being a perfectionist, Tom worked hard at his book binding. Working more than 40 years perfecting his craft. He began right after high school working for Lawyers Co-operative Publishing Co. until 1998. Tom then began working for and learning more about binding from his mentor and great friend, Tim A lasting friendship cherished by both. Eventually, Tom bought the business and New Ridge Bindery was born. All his work done meticulously and by hand… Anything from restoring old Bibles, binding hymnals for churches and thesis work for college students. His work was a combination of love, respect and skill for his craft. He loved repairing the old, as well as creating the new. Tom loved his family and we loved him dearly.  Family holidays, weddings, birthdays and all special occasions were so important to Tom. He never missed one! So now, you are in Heaven, at peace, with Mom and Gram. Reunited with all our loved ones that have gone before. Give them all our love. Take long bicycle rides, watch great movies and root for the Buffalo Bills!
Not goodbye sweet Tom, but….See you later! Until then, “WE ALL LOVE YOU MORE”…..forever♥️
Our deepest gratitude to Shepherd Home for their wonderful care and compassion for Tom and our family. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation in Tom’s name to: Shepherd Home 1959 Five Mile Line Rd. Penfield, NY 14526.
