Her Graveside Service will be held Saturday October 8th, 2pm at Irondequoit Cemetery, 3671 Culver Rd. Rochester, NY. Donations can be made in her memory to the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute.

Our father, Johnnie Lopez, left this world on September 24, 2022 at the age of 60.
He leaves behind his oldest daughter Maritza Lee Lopez and son John Anthony Lopez; grandchildren Terrance Omary Wilson, Isaiah Anthony Lopez, Imarily Milani Wilson; grandniece Aliana Leila Mohsin; niece Yarnedy Imani Villavicensio; two brothers and a sister Reynaldo Lopez, William Lopez, Aurora Lopez; son-in-law Terrance Wilson; daughter-in-law Kristina Lopez; and many friends and family members.
My dad enjoyed riding his bike, going to the library to find movies, listening to 80’s music specifically, spending time with his grandchildren, and was always cracking jokes. He will be sadly missed and will always hold a place in our hearts.

We would love you to come and honor his life on Saturday, October 8th from 2-5PM at Dierna Funeral Home, 2309 Culver Rd Rochester, NY.

Gates- October 1st, 2022, Age 73. Predeceased by his brother Michael Mumm, sister-in-law Elsie Mumm and his parents Sylvia and Raymond.  Survived by his sister Charlotte (Frank) Paglia, nephew Nicholas (Mary) Paglia, great niece Evelyn Paglia, sister Darcy Young, nephew Dylan Young, great niece Peyton Young, nephew Tyler Young, nephew Michael Mumm, niece Angel (Matt) Kreuzer, great nephew Kaleb (Kalina) Kreuzer, and great niece Madison Kreuzer. Paul was a union roofer for 40 years with John Siddons Co.

Our beloved brother peacefully passed away surrounded by family on September 21, 2022. Predeceased by his mother Barbara Terranova, sister Annmarie and nephew Daniel. Survived by his children, Mick, Michael (Destiny), Matthew, Gina, and Brett; siblings Edie (Chris) Pignone, Dominic (Patti) Massaro, Donna Colangelo, Ron (Renee) Massaro, John Massaro, Stephen (Christine) Massaro, Dina Massaro, and Dean Massaro. Shawn also leaves three grandchildren, Layla, Taylor, and Luna Bell; best friend Mike (Gina) Kramer; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, God son Pauly and many family friends. Shawn’s pride and joy was his dog, Rocket.

His Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 8th, 11:15am at St. Theodore’s Church 168 Spencerport Rd. In lieu of flowers please donate to Habitat for Cats.

September 21, 2022, at 74. Predeceased by his parents Howard & Louise and his true love Cindy Peterson. He is survived by his sisters Rita Jopp and Mary Jopp, children Kimberly, Jeffrey, Joseph and Marci Jopp, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Aunt Mary Qualtieri, several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Howard was a school bus driver for many years until retirement. He enjoyed his time at Finger Lakes and spending time with family & friends.

Bernard Reginald Taber

Penfield- passed away peacefully September 12, 2022 at home surrounded by family. He is predeceased by his parents Reginald & Alice and brother Bob. Survived by his wife Delia Bridget, children Debbie (Mark) Walik, Theresa (Mike) McVeigh, and Brian Taber, grandchildren Jason (Tara) Walik, Andrew (Caitlin) Walik, Ashley, Lauren and Brendan McVeigh.
He was born on September 18, 1935. He served in the Army before beginning his career at Xerox. In retirement, he enjoyed working as a school bus driver and volunteering at RGH for over 15 years.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday September 17th, 11am at Church of the Holy Spirit 1355 Hatch Rd. Webster, followed by Interment at White Haven Memorial Park.

Obituary of William Beeman

William J. Beeman

January 1935 – September 2022   William J Beeman (Bill), passed away at the age of 87 after a long illness, at his home in Nokomis, Florida, on September 9, 2022. He was born and raised in Rochester, New York, the fifth of six children to Walter S. and S. Marie Beeman. Bill was passionate about education and graduated from Aquinas Institute, Saint John Fisher College and Syracuse University.  He received his Master’s and Doctorate degrees at Syracuse University’s Maxwell School.  He served briefly in the United States Army then became a professor of Economic Studies at the University of Maine.  During his accomplished career as an economist working in public finance Bill worked at various federal government agencies where he advised heads of state to include the POTUS. After his retirement from federal service he became a renowned researcher and author of many economic publications.  He was a thorough and impartial analyst and felt that he had one of the best jobs in the world. Bill was an extremely devoted husband, a loving father and a proud grandfather “Poppy.”  He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Jane his two children Andrea (Brian), and Daniel and wife Carie.  Five grandchildren – Joshua, Mikayla, Caitlyn, Danny, and Jaidyn; two brothers – Walter (Janet) and Larry (Sharon); and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his two sisters and their spouses, Wilna and husband Robert, Margaret and husband Gerard; and his brother, Reverend James Beeman.

Arrangements have been made by Farley Funeral Home in Venice, Florida, and Dierna Funeral Home in Rochester, New York.  Visitation will be held at Dierna Funeral Home 2309 Culver Rd. between 4-7pm on Thursday, September 29th.  The funeral mass will be held at Saint Cecilia’s Catholic Church at 10am on Friday, September 30th with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill’s memory to the charity of one’s choice.
