She was a wonderful loving mother, grandmother and sister who touched the lives of so many and always was there when we needed her. She cared deeply for her children, grandson, family and friends. She did this not out of obligation but because of who she was.

most of all our special relationship. Things will never be the same
without you Mom, and you leaving us has left a deep void in our hearts. We love you Mom”.
You were selfless and always thought about others before yourself. You have made such a strong and huge impact in all of our lives; you will be deeply missed and will live on in our hearts forever.

Obituary of Gregory Costich

GREGORY E. COSTICH

Born August 3, 1947, passed away July 15, 2022 in Melbourne, Florida.  He is survived by his wife Sandra K. Unger and his sister Jerilyn Costich and many cousins.

He attended Eastridge High School and was without question the best competitive diver in the Rochester area.  His high school record, set in 1965, still stands.  He was inducted into the Section V Swimming and Diving Hall of Fame. He continued diving at Colgate University.  While there, he placed 9th in the nation.

His love of the sport was passed on as he coached at both Monmouth College and Rutgers University.

He was a professional photographer in New Jersey for many years, specializing in truly unique activity and sport photos for high school yearbooks. He moved to Florida with his wife Sandy 17 years ago to get away from winter. He had a passion for movies and music, as seen by his vast collection of both. It was impossible to trip him up on trivia related to these topics.  One of his favorite things to do was to go to concerts to celebrate the old and discover new talents. He stayed close to his Phi Psi fraternity brothers from Colgate.  He would never miss a reunion or an opportunity to go on some adventure with his Phi Psi brothers.

Greg was a special man and will be sorely missed.  He will be buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester with his family.
