Obituary of Anthony Augello

Born in Canicatti, Sicily on October 3, 1930, Anthony Augello passed in Lithia, Florida on April 30th, 2022 at 91 yrs. old.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, Josephine Castania. He is survived by his two daughters, Rosemary Pergolizzi(Anthony Jr.)and Susan Augello Vaisey(Stephen Vaisey- deceased)
Anthony has three grandchildren, Anthony Pergolizzi lll, Justin Charles Pergolizzi and Alexandra Lyn Pergolizzi. He also has three great- grandchildren, Leah Jean and Maxwell Pergolizzi and Luca Anthony Serfine.
Anthony was a architect in NY, retired from Xerox and had his own architectural firm.
He enjoyed many years with his family and loved being outdoors, especially in the Florida sunshine.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday June 16th, 10am at St. Kateri at St. Cecilia Church. Private Interment.

In loving memory of Sarah Tassone (La Rosa) known to all as “Aunt Sarah”. She was a fun, loving, energetic person who lived life to the fullest.

Sarah is predeceased by her loving husband, Anthony B. Tassone; daughter Diane Tassone; and brother Philip La Rosa. Sarah is survived by her loving daughter Sharon; son-in-law John Mulley; furry little grandkitty, Jasper; many nieces, nephews, great & great-great nieces and nephews; and many very dear friends.

At her request, there will be no services.

Obituary of Susan Hall


Susan Hall – Susan passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on the morning of April 15, 2022. Sue’s courageous battle with Alzheimer’s disease now gives way to the abundant happy memories family and friends will cherish of a remarkable life lived, defined by caring, compassion, love, laughs and service to others.

The undisputable pride and joy of Sue’s life was her three children Liz, and twins Lynn and Bill, grandchildren, and family. The daughter of Edmund and Kathryn Lewis, Susan grew up in Newfane, NY. In 1983 Sue and the kids settled in what would become home to them in Hilton, NY where she worked for Perk Development. Eventually she settled in Angelica where she became a fixture in the local community, with a space at the Angelica Main Street Gallery. She took great joy participating in plays with the Angelica Players. Sue was also a past President of the American Legion Post 414, Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered in many other countless ways.

Susan is pre-deceased by her twins Lynn and Bill McKernan, and sister Letitia Turner. She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth (Dustin) Graupman, siblings Quinn Lewis, Jane Prohaska, and Douglas (Lisa) Lewis, daughter-in-law Melissa McKernan, lifelong friend Belinda Goodman and many nieces and nephews. More than anything she loved her time with her grandchildren Lauren, Will and Ella Graupman, and Paige Colley, who brought her immense pride and happiness.

A memorial service in her honor will be held April 29th at 1pm at Hilton United Methodist, 21 West Ave. Hilton, NY 14468

We ask that if anyone is so inclined, they donate time, money, or food to a local food bank in Susan’s memory.

Obituary of Eileen T. D’Eletto

Walworth: Eileen passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 61. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Maureen Stapleton. She is survived by her husband Richard; her children, Richard (Jacqueline), Daniel, Paul and Michael; grandson, Santino; many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, and her three dogs. She was a lifelong friend to many. She loved her boys and she loved her Mets. Becoming a grandmother was the joy of her life.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday June 11th, 9:30am at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church.

Bobby Bartolone is survived by his children Joseph James and Leanna June Bartolone, his mother Jacqueline Bartolone, stepfather Shawn Leonard, brothers Anthony Bartolone, Justin Starks (Samantha), Nicholas and Dyllon Leonard, father Robert Bartolone (and family) many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Bobby will be greatly missed, but he will never leave our hearts or thoughts. He had a way about him that would win you over and you couldn’t help but love him. He loved hard, worked hard and played even harder. Bobby’s most proudest moments in his life was being Joey and Leanna June’s Daddy.
We will be having a celebration of Bobby’s life for family and friends on April 23, 2022 at 1pm  at Marion Town Park

Obituary of Donald Marchese

Greece- Passed away April 13th at Heather Heights Assisted Living in Pittsford, NY. He was born March 16, 1936 to the late Mary & Samuel Marchese. He served in the US Army. Don is a retiree from Eastman Kodak where he worked for many years. Don is predeceased by his parents, 7 brothers & sisters. He is survived by his life-long companion Marlene Cranston, her sons Donald & Daniel (Amy), grandchildren Andrew & Emily Cranston and good friends Jill Meeks & Sarah Peppard, also his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Don was a faithful Buffalo Bills fan who will continue to cheer them on-but now from up above.

Family and Friends may call Tuesday April 19th from 4-7pm at Dierna Funeral Home 2309 Culver Rd. Don’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 11am at Peace of Christ Parish at St. James Church 133 Brett Rd. Interment and Military Honors will follow at Falls Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

January 27, 2022. Loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Predeceased by his wife Nancy J. Pitts Lutterbein, his siblings Marion, John, and Richard, his niece Wendy Devers, and Granddaughter Carolyn Proia. Survived by his children, Mark (Jan), Todd (Carol), Kathryn (Dan Craig); grandchildren, Craig, Brett, Jennifer Lutterbein, Griffin, Alex, Tyrus Lutterbein, Renee, Alicia, Sarah, Devon Proia, Ryan Craig; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Edward graduated from Edgerton High School Class of 1945. He attended Ohio State University before serving in the army for 2 years. Upon leaving the service, he attended and graduated from Heidelberg College in 1950. He then went on to get his MBA from the University of Wisconsin in 1951. Ed and Nancy moved to Rochester, New York where he had a long and successful career at Eastman Kodak, retiring as Director of Purchasing. He enjoyed wonderful summers in Vermont with his family and friends. Traveling, playing bridge and tennis were among his passions. He was never one to turn down a challenge or a new adventure and was an inspiration to all. With deep sorrow and much love, the family of John Moss announces his unexpected passing in the early morning on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the Highland Hospital ICU with his wife and daughter at his side. He was 66 years old. He was preceded in death by parents James & Rita Moss; sisters Mary Kay, Rita (Steve) Opett, and Margaret Mary (Robert) Malin; sister-in-law, Jackie (Rich) DeFazio. John was dearly loved by his wife of 44 years, Karen; daughter Christina (Stephen) Kornienko; grandson Hayden. He is survived by his brothers-in-law, Hank (Val), Gary (Barb), Ricky (Darlene), Steve (Marianne), Fred, Tom (Terry), David (Lorri), James (Yvette) Zalocha; sister-in-law, Lori Young, as well as 38 nieces & nephews and numerous loyal and caring friends. John was a loving grandfather who enjoyed sharing his secret Twizzlers candy stash with his grandson Hayden. He was an avid reader and baseball memorabilia collector. He looked forward to his lunch dates with his friends Pat, Alex, Bill, and Mark. John also enjoyed working in the yard and traveling with friends and family in his younger years. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 10:30 a.m., at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd., Rochester, NY 14612. Nick passed away suddenly on March 10, 2022, at the age of 54 in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his parents Joe Geniola and Sue Geniola , grandparents, aunts, and uncles. He is survived by his children, Samantha Damon (Mike), two grandsons Jacob and Benjamin Damon, Nicholas Geniola (Michelle), Alexandria, Daniel and Joseph Geniola, and sister Joelyn Lockett (Paul) nieces Lauren and Lucy Lockett. Nick is also survived by his girlfriend Laura Baldo. Nick was a very talented General Contractor and loved to cook for his friends and family. Nick enjoyed great music, especially live concerts, movies, and his beloved dog, Titus. Nick meant more to his family than he ever understood.
