Evelyn Velazquez (1969-2024)Predeceased by her brother Israel Martinez. Survived by her husband Jeffrey; daughter Annysia (Jose) George, and son William; Grandchildren Aniyah and Elijah George, and Christian Velazquez. Mother; Marta (Nolin) Torres; Siblings Sonia (Andres) Serrano and Jose Martinez; several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces & great-nephews.
Evelyn went to her eternal home with a God she loved wholly. Her faith was an essential part of her life. She was devoted to her husband, children, and grandchildren. Always carrying herself with grace, she was a light in every space. Her family and community will miss her deeply.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 7th, 2024, from 10-1PM at Dierna Funeral Home immediately followed by a graveside service at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Evelyn’s GoFundMe.
