Obituary of Genoveva Alvarez

Genoveva Alvarez, age 81, left to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. She was born in Arecibo, PR and lived in Rochester, NY.
Predeceased by her parents Juan Alvarez and Francisca Valle; siblings Luis Guillermo and Elizabeth. Survived by her children Daniel Leandro Colon (Viktoria); Betzaida Hernandez (Luis); Dorothy Edwards (David); Grandchildren: Jessica Ashley, Christina Lee, Jeremy, Jasmine, Isabela, Nikolai;
Great-grandchildren: Chrishawn Jr., Cayden, Caleb, Preston, and Penelope; Siblings: Neftali Alvarez, Iraida Alvarez, Ernesto Alvarez, and Olga Rivera; many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday June 11th from 4-8pm with a prayer service at 7pm. Her Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 12th, 2023 at 10am, all at Dierna Funeral Home Culver Rochester, NY 14609. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
