Bassett “Bill” W. Porter Jr.
September 10, 1950 – July 15, 2025
Passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family at 74 years old.
Predeceased by his father and mother, Basset W. Porter, Sr., and Pauline Porter (Ruffel); and his sister, Dawn Wahl.
Survived by his wife of 53 years, Francine Porter (Hartmetz); daughters Christine Porter, Kimberly Hartmetz, and Brenda Hartmetz; grandchildren Brandy Allen, Brittany Allen, Steven Crespo Jr, Star-Asia Hartmetz, Sunshine Bell, and EJ Bell; great-grandchildren; and many more family members and friends.
Bill loved dogs, wolves, playing poker, and building things – but above all, he enjoyed spending his time with his family.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 30th 4-7PM at Dierna Funeral Home. Private interment.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill’s memory to Lollypop Farm.
