In Loving Memory of
Brenda L. Rivera
October 7, 1964 – July 22, 2026
Brenda’s Final Home Run. The MVP of Everybody’s Life.
Some people play it safe. Brenda wasn’t one of them.
Brenda L. Rivera lived life the way she rooted for her beloved New York Yankees—with passion, loyalty, excitement, and her whole heart. She was the life of the party, a true daredevil, and always the first one ready for the next adventure. Whether it was dancing, laughing until everyone cried, gathering with family, or making unforgettable memories with friends, Brenda believed life was meant to be lived to the fullest. She never met a stranger for long. Her kindness, infectious laugh, and larger-than-life personality made everyone feel like family. If there was music playing, Brenda was celebrating. If there was a reason to get together, she was already there. She lived every inning with courage, love, and a smile.
Although Brenda has rounded the bases and hit her final home run, the love she gave and the memories she created will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
She was predeceased by her father Santos, nephew Brian and grandaughter Gia.
She leaves behind her lifelong partner Yvette, her mother Brunilda, loving daughter Danairi, loving nephew Jonathan, her cherished granddaughters Marlize and Briana , her sisters Yanira and Damaris, beloved Godchildren Angel and Giselle, along with her bonus kids Robert, TJ and Eddie and countless family members and friends whose lives are forever better because Brenda was part of them.
The game may be over, but Brenda’s legacy will forever be the winning season in our hearts.
“Well played, Brenda… we’ll take it from here until we meet again.”
