Carolyn J. Morrison, born January 11, 1947, in Raeford, North Carolina, entered into eternal rest on February 12, 2026. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, Carolyn lived a life centered on love, family, and unwavering dedication. Her gentle spirit, strength, and compassion touched all who had the blessing of knowing her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love through her six children: Richard (Rachel) Hagins, Pamdora (Larry) Drumgoole, Kathy Morrison, Orlando Gaskin, Yolanda (Carl) Morrison, and Juan (Nikki) Morrison. Carolyn was the proud grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 22 great‑grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy. She is also survived by three sisters, two brothers‑in‑law, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, February 27th at 12:00 PM (Visitation from 10:00 AM to Noon) at Greater Harvest Church, 121 Driving Park Avenue. Pastor Sebrone Johnson, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will be private.

  1. I don’t know where to begin as I’ve only known my life to have Aunt Carolyn in it. As I reminisce and honor her legacy She is one of the most important role models who made me woman I am today. As a child, I’ve witnessed Aunt Carolyn always being a devoted mother ,daughter and sister and how graceful, loving, and classy she was doing it ALL! I will continue to honor her with all my love and gratitude for her loving me as one of her own. She will be greatly missed.

I was so shy to get out the car to meet you and I finally did.
