Cory Latrell Faison, 33, entered eternal rest on March 2, 2026. He was born on April 1, 1992, in Rochester, New York.
Cory is survived by his loving parents, Latricia and Oscar Winbush, and Roland Medlock; his cherished children, Cameron, Carter, and Zion; his siblings, Telly Medlock, Terrell (Nicole) White, Casseophia, and Andromeda Medlock, Letisha and Telisha Winbush; his maternal grandmother, Alberta Swift; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Winbush; special aunt Latanya (William) Morse; and a host of relatives and friends. He also leaves behind special friends, Tyrone Bryant, Cedria Wright, Jhanelly Cruz and Cha’ria Barron whose friendship meant so much to him.
Cory was predeceased by his beloved brother, Chad Coleman; his grandfather, John Swift; and his uncle, Phillip Swift.
Cory was a proud graduate of Monroe Community College, where he earned an Associate Degree. During his academic career at Greece Olympia, he was recognized for achieving Distinguished High Honor Roll. After completing his education, Cory pursued his entrepreneurial ambitions and founded C Estates LLC. He later discovered a passion for healthcare while working at Drug Scan Toxicology Laboratory, where he remained a dedicated employee until his illness.
Cory was known for his strong work ethic, his willingness to help others, and his deep devotion to his family. His charm, quick wit, and warm personality could light up any room. Cory rarely met a stranger and had a remarkable way of winning people over with his smile and laughter. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his firstborn son, Cameron—affectionately known as “Cam”—especially building Lego creations together.
Cory will be remembered for his zest for life, determination to succeed, and unwavering love for his family. Cory’s life was rich in wisdom, experiences, and the meaningful connections he made with others. In Cory’s 33 short years, he touched so many lives, as evidence by the outpouring of love and support from family and friends. We are all blessed to have known Cory, and while his physical presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

Miss Pat and family, I am so sorry to hear of Cory’s passing. I only knew him when he was a young boy, he was always making Chad and I laugh when I was at the house. It’s true what is said above, his smile and laugh were contagious! I am sending your family all the prayers. I know his big brother is taking good care of him up there in Heaven.
