Born in Valley Stream, NY. Predeceased by parents Clarence and Mary Gelabert. David was a 20 year Veteran of the United States Navy.
Survived by his children Annaliesa Detlef and David E. Gelabert. Grandsons Brayden and Nickolas. Brother Peter Gelabert (Kathryn). Nephew Kevin Gelabert (Amy) and Niece Kristen Murphy (Ryan) and several great nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Saturday May 9th from 10 am -12 pm at Dierna Funeral Home (2309 Culver Rd, Rochester, NY 14609) followed by Prayer and Internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
