Dennis Griffo

Passed away June 7th, 2026, at age 80.

Predeceased by his beloved dog, Chase.

Survived by his devoted wife Linn; son Jeffrey (Rita) Griffo; grandchildren Alesha (Jacob) Wilhelm and Jeffrey Griffo Jr.; and great-granddaughter Ren Wilhelm. Dennis will be missed by many extended family members and friends.

He was an avid drag racing fan and enjoyed spending many years as his son’s Crew Chief.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, June 22nd, 2026, at 11AM at St. John of Rochester, 8 Wickford Way, Fairport. Private interment.

  2. Linn,Jeff & Rita: So sorry to hear off Dennis’s passing. There were many Friday nite dinners, car club meetings,car shows,racing at Spencer & Empire,even a trip to Las Vegas to see drag racing. Larry & I are sending love & prayers. I am sure he is up in heaven reunited with family & friends.

I never met Dennis, but from what I know of the Griffo family, he had to have been a great dad, husband, grandpa and friend. That is an amazing legacy that we should all strive for.
