Dennis J. Young, Sr.
November 11, 1959 – December 23, 2025

Dennis J. Young, Sr., age 66, affectionately known as “Diamond D,” passed away unexpectedly on December 23, 2025. Born on November 11, 1959, in Rochester, NY, to the late Samuel Jones and Marie Young, Dennis lived a life defined by love, generosity, and unwavering devotion to his family. Cooking for those he cared about was more than a hobby—it was his passion and one of the many ways he expressed his deep affection.

Dennis leaves to honor his legacy his four children: Dennis J. Young, Jr., Cash Young, Brandon Bullock, and Teniece Young; seven cherished grandchildren; and his beloved mother, Marie Young. He is also survived by six brothers, five sisters, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd at 10:30 AM at Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church, 111 Clifton St., with visitation from 9:30–10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
