They served in Tennessee from 1970 to 1975. They then moved to Rochester to be closer to his sister Jan who married Jack Dukes in 1973. George met his wife of 44 years, Julie, at the Plymouth Kingdom Hall (now Genesee Valley) and the two married in 1977. George was an avid chess player and enjoyed playing cards. Along with playing with the latest tech gadgets and cooking, George enjoyed sports and discussing the ins and outs of whatever game he was watching with Dan, James and Tony. I d not have enough words to express how my heart is broken. My cousin “George “ and I would talk and check on one another regularly. We would laugh and sometimes cry. It did not
matter what times we checked on
one another. He was very intelligent with a caring heart for others. I want to share my condolences to Julie. Cameilia, TaShunda, Walter Tony,Dwight,Jan,LaShunda,Monique,Baby Girl, etc.🙏🏿
Dorothy,Julie, Dwight and Tony,
I’m so sorry about the loss of George. This evil world must end soon! Soon ,our God , Jehovah will wipe away death, sorrow, sickness and pain. You’ll be reunited with George in the resurrection.
My brother inlaw will be greatly missed. He is sleeping until Jehovah God wakes him up in the paradise earth. I hope to be there with my sister to welcome home. All my love to my sister and her children ❤️
My sympathies and love are with all of George’s family and friends. I worked with him for many years at Schlegel. I always respected his intelligence, kindness, caring and sharing of ideas (even if we disagreed). It is an honor to have known George!
