It seems impossible to imagine the home of my childhood without the big and solid, welcoming presence of Mr Kowalski ( yes, you told me to call you Harry when I was 30 and married but you have always been Mr. Kowalski in my heart).
I was the shy and introverted oldest daughter of your good friends Sara and George. You and Mrs Kowalski(yes, I know, I’m 64…it’s Bonnie) formed a price of who I am today. I am still an introvert, but I also know that kindness and acceptance can come in big bold packages, and while I’m still happy in a quiet corner petting the dog at a party, I can channel the spirt of the people like you that I learned from, and be part of the life of the party for awhile too.
Thank you Mr K.
Bonnie and family,
I am saddened to hear of the passing of my golf partner at Sodus. When I first joined Sodus, I got paired with Harry in the league. I was so lucky to have the privilege of being his partner for a few years. I enjoyed listening to all his stories both on the course and then in the 19th hole. I even bought some clubs from him. He just loved playing and being with people.
He was so proud of his kids and their accomplishments and always shared this with me.
May you Rest in Peace my friend, you will be missed.
We are Bonnie & Harry’s Aussie family from Australia.
We met Bonnie & Harry on a cruise to Alaska in 2015, and we clicked from day one. We were so fortunate to visit them both again last year in 2025 — memories we will treasure forever. We always enjoyed listening to Harry talk about his achievements throughout his life and hearing the many wonderful stories he shared with us. His warmth, wisdom, and friendship will always stay with us.
We will forever treasure our friendship and hold on to those special memories close to our hearts.
Rest in peace, our dear friend. You will never be forgotten.💔

Mike and I are so saddened to hear of the passing of “Junior.” Our Canada trip was so memorable, in part by meeting and becoming friends with you two.
May his memory be a blessing.
Harry used to volunteer his time at the golf club when I was Superintendent and we were struggling with finance’s to pay for employees. He would show up with a smile on his face and his big cigar and go to work right along with the paid crew. He was always willing to share his time and experience and I was proud to call him my friend. He will be missed by many. RIP Harry.
Our hearts are with the Kowalski family during this incredibly difficult time. We are deeply sorry for your loss. Our dog club always looked forward to seeing Mr. Kowalski at our trials and competitions, where he so proudly came to support his son, Jason, and his beloved German Shepherd, Bean. His presence was always appreciated, and he will be warmly remembered by all of us.
