Obituary of Jacqueline East

Jacqueline “Jackie” East passed away on May 7th, 2023, surrounded by her family at the age of 83.

Jacqueline was born September 9th, 1939, to Evalyn and John VanderLinden.

She is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, James East, and her sons Jimmy, Douglas, and Gary East. She is survived by her sons John and Eric East; daughter Heather (Joe) Lanza; grandchildren Jason East, James and Meadow Lanza, plus 5 other grandchildren; her brother John (Jean) VanderLinden; sister Betty Ann; and many other family members.

Jacqueline was a stay-at-home mother for many years until she found her passion in selling Tupperware. She made a full time career out of it, she ended up selling for over 25 years and broke records doing so well. She was charismatic and a good public speaker. Jackie was the type of person that anyone could talk to, she would listen to you but never passed judgement. She was loved by so many and will be truly missed.

A special thank you to the staff at Unity Hospital on the 4200 floor and the ICU unit who did everything they could to make her comfortable and help her family through this difficult time.
