Rochester – October 11, 2021 at age 96. Predeceased by his parents Jose Perez & Marcelina Perez Negron; brothers Manuel Perez and Durcilio Perez; and sisters Carmen and Aracelia. He is survived by his beloved wife Assenath; children Raquel (Juan) Diaz, Aracelis (Edwin) Ramos, Joaquin (Reecemarie) Perez Jr., Benjamin (Damaris) Lopez, Jose (Fanny) Lopez, Elda Lopez, Noemi Mitchell, Aseneth (Alex) Alvarado, Hulda (Neel) Yau, Joseneth Lopez and Reece Alvarez; 15 grandchildren, 1 great holy grandchild, brothers William Perez and Melanio Perez; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Our beloved has gone home to be with our Savior, Jesus Christ. He has won the victory, no more pain, no more sorrow. His example of unconditional love, sense of humor and passion for Christ will remain in our lives forever. “Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’” Matthew 22:37
