John “Jack” Harster
Passed away suddenly on October 30, 2025 at 84. He is predeceased by the love of his life Donna Carr, brother-in-law Roger Fox and niece Colleen Fox. Survived by his brother Robert (Sharon) Harster, sisters Jean Fox and Marylou (Phil) Marotta, stepsons Gary (Kristin) Williams, Kevin (Mary) Williams, and Russell (Lindsay) Carr, grandchildren Amanda (Adam) DeRue, Kayla Willliams, Caitlyn and Connor Carr, many nieces and nephews.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday November 22nd, 11am at Parish of the Holy Family Church 4100 Lyell Rd., followed by interment at Holy Ghost Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in his memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.

Uncle Jack, I hope that you and Donna are joined with your Mom, Roger and “Kelly”. I’m sure that the embraces and tears of love with being together again are beyond anything we can imagine. I enjoyed spending time with you when you came over to visit, and your hugs were the best. I’m sorry that I missed saying goodbye to you. Unfortunately, I mistakenly didn’t verify the date and time with those closest to us.
When I think of you, I will smile and think of you fondly.
