June Yvonne Sandlin, “Minister Sandlin”, was born on December 14, 1954, in Ft. Pierce, Florida, the beloved
daughter of Cleo and Eula Mae Robinson (both predeceased). From childhood, she carried a gentle spirit, strong
values, deep faith, and an enduring love for family—qualities that shaped the compassionate, humble, and
faith‐filled woman she became.
With full hearts and abiding faith, we announce that Minister Sandlin entered the loving presence of the Lord on
January 5, 2026. While we mourn her earthly absence, we rejoice knowing she now rests in God’s eternal peace.
Minister Sandlin lived a life deeply rooted in faith, service, and compassion. A devoted minister and faithful
member of Pentecostal Miracle Deliverance Center Church (PMDCC), she poured her heart into the ministries
she cherished. Throughout her years of service, she served as a member of the clergy, supported the Women’s
Ministry, ushered with grace, taught Sunday School, and worked tirelessly in Missionary Outreach. Whether
offering a prayer, a helping hand, or a word of encouragement, she embodied Christ’s love in every act of
service.
Her ministry extended far beyond church walls. Minister Sandlin carried God’s light into her home, her
community, and every life she touched. Her warm smile, gentle counsel, and unwavering faith uplifted many. She
believed in the power of prayer and was known for offering scripture‐filled encouragement and steadfast hope.
To her family, she was a spiritual anchor—guiding with love, modeling grace, and teaching her children,
grandchildren, and great‐grandchildren to trust in the Lord with all their hearts. To her church family, she was a
dependable servant and a joyful presence. Her legacy of faith will continue to shine through the lives she touched
and the ministries she supported.
Minister Sandlin leaves to cherish her memory four children born of her union with Bishop Donald Sandlin
(predeceased): Tileesia, Marcia, Mark, and Donna Sandlin, all of Rochester, NY; grandchildren Calvin & Destiny
Sandlin, Danielle Brundige, and Quintin Sandlin; and great‐grandchildren Keshawn, Cameron, and Carmen
Sandlin. She is also survived by her special sister/cousin Shirley Griffin (Chic) and Stephanie Bailey; her Godson
Apostle Troy Wallace; and a host of loving family—siblings, nieces, nephews, godchildren, and dear friends. She
is fondly remembered by her church family and all who were blessed to know her.
Though her earthly journey has ended, her spirit remains—quietly guiding, constantly loving, and forever
reminding us of God’s promise of reunion.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 17th from 9-10AM with a service at 10:00AM at Penecostal Miracle Deliverance Center Church, 923 Portland Ave.
Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
