Kenneth M. Sheedy

Passed away suddenly on February 25, 2026.

Predeceased by parents, Mary & Joseph Sheedy, beloved dog, Bo.

Survived by children Sara (Matt) Whited and Sam Sheedy; Lifelong friend, Betsy Weinhart. Brother, John Sheedy; extended family and many friends.

Ken worked in the commercial glass industry for years owning his own business. He realized his true passion was in custom frameless showers and branched off creating his company Shower Designs Inc., where he provided many beautiful high end shower designs and installations in the Rochester area.

He was known for his positive outlook on life and carefree spirit, becoming a popular guy everywhere he went, especially the dog park. He was a passionate man with many talents, enjoying wood working and creating beautiful pieces of art. He was an amazing cook, specializing in his vodka sauce and his green thumb was top notch – often effortlessly growing the hardest of plants.

Ken cherished his dog and best friend, Bo. The last 12 years together they went on many adventures – including a road trip to California and participating in a surfing competition in Huntington Beach. Where Ken was, Bo was.

Family and friends can take comfort knowing that he is now reunited with some of his most favorite people, including his adored Uncle Frank & Aunt Fran.

  1. Ken and I were friends for many years and I considered him my most trusting, caring friend. I loved him (and Bo) like family and will miss him always. RIP Ken…
I love you, and hope you give Bobo big hugs from me.

  2. Our dear friend for so many years…We reconnected in the last few, and visited He, Betsy and Bo often. Ken, you are truly missed and we know you and Bo are flying high together again. Peace to all.

  3. Ken and I were neighbors, his kids Sarah and Sammy played with my kids Danny and Codie. Ken Lynda and the kids were the best neighbors to have. If we ever needed anything Ken and Lynda we’re always there for us and vice versa.
He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers are with the family.
