Obituary of Lejend Watson

Lejend K. Watson, affectionately known to the world as “10” for his remarkable musical talents, passed away on October 31, 2025, at the age of 27.

Born on April 11, 1998, Lejend’s passion for music and creative spirit touched countless lives. His artistry and voice resonated far beyond his community, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire.

Lejend was a devoted father to Sy’laiyah Knox and Kymani Hall. He is survived by his loving parents, Donald Watson and Christina Johnson; 4 brothers; and his cherished maternal grandmother, Diana Robinson.
He also leaves behind a close-knit circle of aunts and uncles who held a special place in his heart: Pamela (Anthony) Watson-Duval, Ella P. Watson, Linda Watson, Cleveland Watson, Jr., Sir Lawrence (Sonya) Watson, Donna Ingram, Natalie Renie, and Jennifer Johnson.
Lejend will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

His music lives on as a testament to his soul, creativity, and enduring impact.

Visitation is 9-10am with a service at 10am at Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church, 111 Clifton St.

Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery.
