The life of Majesty Moet Montgomery was forever changed on April 18, 1997, when she entered the world with her tiny size, bright eyes, head full of hair, and beautiful caramel skin. She was lovingly called “Magic” by her mother – her oldest child, first heartbeat, and first headache – but above all, her perfect baby. From the very beginning, Majesty brought joy, love, and unforgettable energy to everyone blessed to know her.

From a young age, Majesty had a creative spirit and a deep appreciation for artistic expression. She loved coloring, patterns, and anything that allowed her imagination to shine. She was also fluent in Spanish, a language she began learning in the first grade and proudly carried with her throughout life. As she grew older and began school, her personality flourished. Majesty became her own person – confident, fearless, and strong minded. Though small in stature, she never backed down from anyone and always demanded the respect she knew she deserved.

Majesty brought light, laughter, and love into every room she entered. She will forever be remembered for her vibrant personality, caring heart, and the joy she brought into the lives of others. One thing everyone knew about Majesty was her love for sunflower seeds – she always had some nearby. Magic painted her world pink. Pink was her favorite color, and she wore it beautifully, just like the bright and beautiful spirit she carried within. Majesty attended School #33 during her elementary years and later continued her education at East High School. After high school, she pursued a career as a home health aide, a profession she was deeply passionate about. She found purpose in caring for others and took pride in helping those in need with compassion, patience, and dedication.

Majesty also took great pride in helping raise her beloved niece, Egypt, following the passing of her sister a few years ago. She cherished every moment spent with Egypt and made sure every holiday, birthday, and special occasion was celebrated with love, joy, and unforgettable memories. Majesty was truly the life of the party. Her energy, laughter, and unforgettable spirit could light up any room. She loved music, especially listening to Vybz Kartel. Whether spending time with family and friends, shopping for sneakers and shoes, or getting dressed up, Majesty carried herself with confidence and style. Family and friends lovingly called her a “shopaholic” because she could never resist adding another stylish pair of shoes or sneakers to her collection. She was a true diva who loved keeping her hair and lashes done and always made sure she looked her best.

Majesty also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, King, whom she loved dearly. King brought her comfort, companionship, and happiness, and she treasured every moment spent with him.

Majesty is now reunited at Heaven’s pearly gates with her beloved grandmothers, Bernadine Dixon and Sherry Montgomery; her grandfather, Davie Mack; her sister, Rojaya Johnson; and her great-grandmother, Janice Henderson.

She leaves to carry on her light and legacy: her loving parents, Myleka Dixon and Herbert Montgomery; her siblings, Makye McFarland, Deshawn, NyZierra, MyAisha, and Quantashia Montgomery, all of Rochester.

A very special person in Majesty’s life was Tashara Willis, whose love, support, and bond with Majesty meant so much throughout the years they shared together and remained strong until her final day. She also shared close friendships with Bianca, Key, Cresha, Sam, and Kalla. Majesty had a special bond with her uncle David, whom she spoke with often. The two affectionately called each other “Crusty” and shared countless laughs together.
Majesty’s favorite aunts included Natasha McFadden and Latifah Johnson. She also leaves behind many other aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and loved ones whose lives were touched by her love, laughter, and unforgettable presence.

Though her time on earth was far too short, the love Majesty gave, the memories she created, and the light she carried will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her forever.

A Celebration of her Life will be held Friday, May 22nd at 5PM with visitation from 4-5PM at Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church, 111 Clifton St. Private interment.
