Marcia Sandlin of Rochester, New York, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026. Born on November 29, 1970, in Fort Pierce, Florida, and raised in Rochester, New York, Marcia was known for her bold spirit, warm heart, and deep love for family. Despite life’s challenges, she faced each day with courage, determination, and joy.

Above all, Marcia loved God, her church family at First Born Church of the Living God and passionately shared her faith in Christ with everyone she met. She left a lasting impression through her unwavering devotion, compassionate spirit, and powerful testimony.

She leaves to cherish her memory her sisters, Tileesia Sandlin and Donna Sandlin, both of Rochester, New York; her nephew, Calvin Sandlin; her niece, Destiny Sandlin; her great-nephews, Keshawn Sandlin and Cameron Sandlin; her great-niece, Carmen Sandlin; and a host of extended family members, caregivers, and friends whose lives were blessed by knowing her.

Marcia was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Donald Sandlin and June Sandlin, whose love and guidance shaped her life, and by her brother, Mark Sandlin.

Marcia’s bold faith, loving heart, and joyful presence touched countless lives. Her legacy of love, devotion to God, and commitment to family will never be forgotten. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at 11:00AM at Miracle Deliverance Faith Center, 69 Whitney Street, Rochester, New York. Visitation 10:00 – 11:00AM. Internment: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
