Obituary of  Marilyn Ruth Smith

ROCHESTER – February 8, 2022 at age 89. Marilyn devoted her life to her family, and she is survived by her four children, James (Laurie) Smith, Gary Smith, Laura (Steven) Savoca, and Lisa (Dallas) Huff, as well as her grandchildren, Ella & Ava Savoca and Lauren & Griffin Huff. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond & Jennie Kicherer of Irondequoit, and brothers Norman (Joyce) Kicherer and Raymond Kicherer Jr. Over the years, Marilyn held various positions serving others, although her most treasured role was being a caretaker for her children, grandchildren, and family friends. In her free time, Marilyn enjoyed many simple pleasures, including reading, knitting, puzzles, and being a loyal fan of the NY Yankees. A service of remembrance will be held with her children and grandchildren, and she will be honored for all of the gifts that she shared.
