Born in Irondequoit, New York, Mark carried his roots with him wherever life led. For the past 13 years, he made his home in warm, sunlit Florida, where he found joy in the things that mattered most: the open road beneath his Harley, time spent on the water, long days with his dog, Sammy, and the steady companionship of good friends.
Mark was a constant and loving father to his daughters, Lyndsey and Rachel, and a devoted papa to his granddaughter, Francesca. His presence was grounding and protective—an anchor his family will continue to carry with them in the years ahead.
Loyalty was at the core of who Mark was. He valued lifelong friendships and stood firmly by the people he loved. He lived by the belief that “you’re good on your word or you’re no good at all,” a principle reflected not only in his work ethic but in the way he showed up for others. His humor was always unexpected, yet somehow always exactly what was needed—perfectly timed, deeply human, and never forgotten. Those who knew Mark came to expect the unexpected, and cherished it.
Mark’s steadiness, humor, and fierce loyalty leave an enduring imprint on all who knew him. He lived with integrity, loved deeply, and leaves behind a legacy that will forever endure.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday January 22nd, 10am at Christ the King Church, 445 Kings Highway S.

Marc was such a great man, may you rest in peace, my good friend. I’ll always enjoy the memories.🙏🏻
Mark fought hard through this disease that has taken so many of our friends away! I sent him a message on January 1 saying happy New Year and asked how he was doing and he told me the pain was really getting unbearable, but that didn’t stop him from answering a text from me! sending prayers to his family may he rest in peace🙏
You will be missed. You left to soon and to young.
Mark will be deeply missed by so many. I only had the privilege to hangout with him a few times and he was always the nicest man. Praying for his family and his friends. God Bless you Burnsie and may you rest in eternal peace!
Mark holds a very special place in our family’s heart. He is my parents’ best friend and the kind of loyal, steady presence they could always rely on. While I didn’t get the chance to know him for as long as I would have liked, it was clear from the start what a remarkable person he was. He had a genuine kindness that drew people in, and my children loved him deeply and still speak of him often. His spirit, love, and friendship will never be forgotten, and his memory will live on in our hearts always. 🕊️

Cousins Laura, Rachel and Lyndsey,
I am so deeply saddened to hear that Mark and your Dad have passed. I had no idea he was battling cancer until you told me Laur at Dad’s celebration of life. I remember many family gatherings and social events spending time together. He was always part of the family, So young but from what I understand and knowing him, he fought the tough battle. My sincerest sympathy, love and prayers.
I had a special bond with Mark. We have been friends since 1974. We never let each other down and I lived by what he believed in and that is a man’s word means everything and loyalty is everything. We did the things we both enjoyed doing Motorcycles,. Golfing, hunting, boating and plenty of drinking. I have no words what a terrible loss. He gave it a good fight. FUCK CANCER.
God Speed Mark!
We are so sorry for your loss! He will live forever in your hearts! Please try to be happy for the life he did live! XO
I met mark riding my Harley, he left an impact on me personally because mark rode his bike like he stole it. He was caring and funny and made me want to be a better person. He had no bad things to say. Mark I’m going to miss you because you were a friend that only wanted good times and no negatives. Hope I only get to see you when I leave this place.

I still haven’t fully come to terms that my buddy is gone, that I won’t be able to talk to him in person or do many of the things we did together. I miss him already and I continue to do so. Love you, brother, save me a seat so we can reunite someday!
