Rochester, NY. Mei-Nge Hwang passed away at age 101 on January 22nd, 2026. She was born in Shanghai, China and graduated from Jiao-Tong University in 1946. Mei-Nge moved to Taiwan with her family in 1948. She married Hun-Sun (Robert) Hwang and worked as a math teacher in Taiwan. She immigrated to the US with her family in 1967 and retired as a chemist from Morrisana City Hospital in 1987. Mei-Nge was predeceased by her husband, Robert Hwang. She is survived by children DinChih (Hsiaumei), Larry (Rebecca), Mo-Chih (Manh) and grandchildren Chuyuan, Chuhern, Amy, Cindy, and Eric.
