In Loving Memory of Ms. Marvine Reed
June 6, 1950 – October 21, 2025

Ms. Marvine Reed passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, surrounded by her loving children. A true beacon of light, she touched the lives of many with her warmth, strength, and unwavering love. She is survived by her devoted children—Haneefah, Omar, Brent, and Jabreel Lewis—along with 14 cherished grandchildren, 11 beloved siblings, and a host of extended family and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8th at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at Miracle Valley Deliverance Center, 290 North Street. Apostle James Hartsfield, Pastor, will officiate the service.

In honor of Ms. Reed’s vibrant spirit, the family kindly requests that attendees wear yellow, pink, or white.

Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

  2. i met marvine back in the early 1960’s. she was a good person to my uncle willie,she used to call him mr willie .marvine was always nice to everyone she came into contact with.she will be missed by everyone who knew her.god bless the family at this time of sorrow. love you marvine. with love, eugene harrell
