Mother Nancy L. White, age 90, passed away peacefully in her home on April 30, 2026. Born on August 16, 1935, in Andrews, South Carolina, she was the beloved daughter of the late Sylvester and Mazie White. A woman of deep faith and gentle strength, Mother White was known for her quiet spirit, warm smile, and unwavering trust in God.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, James White.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving son, Anthony “Pete” White, Sr.; six grandchildren whom she adored: Anthony “Snooper/Tank” White, Jr., J.D. “Bossy”, Andre, Chanel “Nelly”, Kyle, and Devin. She is also survived her siblings, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 12th at 11:00 AM, with visitation from 10:00–11:00 AM, at First Church of God 334 Clarissa St. Bishop Dwight Fowler, Pastor & Eulogist. Interment will follow at Grove Place Cemetery.
