Nicholas S. Zanni
Irondequoit-November 27, 2022 at 90. Survived by his beloved wife Elaine Dilella, widower of Gloria Zanni, sons Ben (Theresa) and Brian (Kim), grandson Matt (Allison) Kommer, great grandchildren Chase & Sophie, brother Anthony, sisters Ann Piano & Viola Bonafine, stepdaughter Debra Ann Danno, sister-in-law Dorothy Pusateri and brother-in-law Sam (Cindy) Lovetro. Nick was a member of the St. Cecilia Men’s Club for many years.
Calling hours will be Thursday December 1st, from 4-7pm at Dierna Funeral Home 2309 Culver Rd. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10am at St. Kateri St. Cecilia Church. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Ben , and Brian , and your family we are sending you our condolences I was saddened by the news of your Dad . I didn’t realize he got re married but I have many wonderful memories of your mom Gloria and Dad … I started doing Gloria’s hair about 25 years ago up until her death and Dad and mom always came to get their hair done We became close friends Your parents always spoke about how hard they worked for the family . Your Dad was always helping out doing remodeling or some rebuilding of some sort he loved Dancing they would tell me many stories about how they loved it . nick and Gloria were always together they. Showed their love for one another 65 years together and nick took such good care until she passed he would come over and visit us and he was part of our family Always making us laugh telling stories about the casino he loved the casino and loved going with his grandson and sons when he could he always loved being with his kids and his grandkids that was their life he’s at peace and I’m sure he’s dancing in the clouds . Elaine and family, we offer our deep condolences to you and your family. I worked with me at the Gleason Works, played euchre at Saint Cecilias and played bocce with him in the summer league. We’ve had lots of great times. I will miss him. God bless, Milt & Jan Glende
