It is with tremendous sadness we announce the passing of our sweetest Patricia (Trish) Gaudioso (Chudyk) on September 22, 2026, at the age of 61.
Trish was bigger than life itself; her laughter, ability to talk your ear off (often faster than you could even comprehend), and the overwhelming amount of love she gave filled many people’s hearts. Her passing leaves a huge hole in the lives of her loved ones.
Trish was born October 2nd, 1964, in Rochester, NY. She is predeceased by her parents, Lawerence and Elaine Ronayne; life partner, Nicholas “Butchie” Chudyk; sister, Laurie Bruse; nephew, Jonathan Mayl; and fur babies, Jack and Jax. She is survived by her miracle child and right-hand man, Spencer Chudyk; sisters, Susan Mayl (Ronayne), Kathy McGhan; nieces/nephews, Karen Deuel (Josh Scuby), Brian Deuel, Aimee Bergren (Kris), Tyler Murray (Kristen); great nieces/nephew; cousins, numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and numerous nieces/nephews within the Chudyk Family.
Trish also leaves behind her very best friends in entire world, Lenore Pizzingrilli, Anita Ricci, Mary Hartquist, and Cyndi LaPietra Chieselko, who provided her with so much joy, laughter, support, and fun times over many years of her life. She will be so dearly missed by this tremendous group of women.
Trish was a caregiver of the elderly and children her entire life; every single soul that crossed her path was cared for as if they were her own family. She was a fierce advocate and would give truly everything she had to anyone if it meant they could have some comfort, a listening ear, or just a moment to feel special.
She was the family historian to her nieces and nephews, who could always call her for a funny story, a reminder of something from your childhood (she remembered every single detail), or some true embarrassment if you needed that too. We will all miss her annual birthday phone calls, her silly nicknames (“meemarooni”, “garbanzo beans”, “rock lobsters”, and “lovey”), recipes off the top of her head, and genuine and sincere support and love we received from her over our entire lives.
Trish was always there for everyone in her life, despite her ongoing health challenges. Any time, day or night, she was simply a phone call away. She was emotional, kind, non-judgmental, and the keeper of everyone’s secrets. She adored babies, animals (most recently her best fur pals Sadie & Bruce), and Coca-Cola. Spencer was her entire world, she did everything she could to have him, love him, and do right by him. She loved him with everything inside of her and beyond. She cried at the Campbell’s Soup Snowman commercial every year, joked with her sister Kathy about the “dead canary on a silver platter”, and talked to her big sister Sue every single day about their days, their hopes, their dreams, or even just the weather outside.
Trish’s sudden loss has left her family and friends with great sadness. She will be so, so missed. We will see you again, someday, you sweet Angel. A Catholic Mass will be celebrated in her honor on the day of her birth at St. Mary’s Church (15 St. Mary’s Place, Rochester), Friday, October 2nd at 10 am. A private gathering to celebrate Trish’s life will immediately follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in her memory to ROC the Dogs Rescue (https://www.rocthedogsrescue.com/donate).

Tricia was a wonderful person. I treasure the times we had together. I love you Tricia, RIP honey.💔
I was shocked to hear of Tricia’s sudden passing. We reconnected as friends later in life after years apart. We talked about our dads as they worked together for many years. She always was asking about my dad and the family. I will miss her.
Trish was married to Joe before I was. It said a lot about her that when we started dating, he went to tell her about me. She was truly happy for him. When I met her the 1st time she told me that I was exactly what he had wanted (a little Italian girl). I liked her immediately!! Joe and Trish remained friends which I thought was great. When Joe passed away, Trish wrote me the most beautiful letter which I still have today. Rest in peace Trish and give Joe a hug from me. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
My sweet dear Tricia. To know was to instantly love you. My heart is deeply broken and I can not fathom hearing of your passing. I am sending love light and prayers to your son your sisters your friends and to everyone who knew you. Sleep in paradise my dear sweet friend. Every one in heaven is so lucky to have you!!
Mel
My heart is so incredibly heavy and feels broken Trish. You really pulled a fast one and left way ,way sooner than you should have. We didn’t see it coming and we’re still shell shocked by this loss.
My biggest hope and belief is that you’re now happy, healthy, not suffering in any way, and completely rocking heaven as only you could do. Seeing everyone you ever loved and lost, giving hugs and kisses, and talking a mile a minute to all your loves.
They are the lucky ones now.
I’m sure you’ll be taking attendance at your mass ( 🤣) as you always threatened.
Until we meet again on the other side, keep on loving and protecting as you always did.
You will never be forgotten ❤️
Sue, Kathy, Spencer and family ~ I’m so, so sorry for the loss of Trish. It was an honor & a pleasure to know and work with her, and I always knew if she was working we were in good hands. I’m sure she’s got everyone up in heaven laughing right now. Rest in peace Trish, you will be missed
My deepest sympathy to all of the Ronayne & Chudyk family members. I’ve known you all since you were children & have fond memories of you. Trish was a sweet, caring person to everyone & will be missed.
Dear Tricia, We miss you so much already … what else can I say? We miss you! Life will not be the same without you … our phone calls, our laughs, our tears. Thankful for the memories. Love and laugh it up in heaven … enjoy your “freedom” from it all. But we miss you.
