Rebecca Latasha Davis “Hollywood” was born March 24, 1977, in Rochester, New York to Bobby Paul Richardson and Jo-Ann Davis. She received her education in the Rochester City Schools, graduating from Edison Technical and Occupational High School.
Following high school, Rebecca pursued her dream of providing quality care and service to others. She enrolled in school and obtained her certification as a Home Health Aide well as licensure as a Cosmetologist. Her commitment to quality and professionalism meant the world to her clients, whether in the healthcare field or beauty field.
Affectionately called “Hollywood” by family and friends, Rebecca loved to dress and was always concerned with how she presented herself. She will be remembered for her wide, infectious smile, her love of laughter and joying life, and making sure those dear to her did the same. Her true goal in life was to positively impact the lives of others, and she did so by bringing a smile to the faces of others and doing all she could to make them happy. Her thoughtful, generous ways will be treasured forever in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Among the things she enjoyed doing in her leisure time were gambling, playing cards, going to the casino, and being creative through her cosmetology services.
Rebecca transitioned her earthly life on July 26, 2026, predeceased by her father, Bobby Paul Richardson. She leaves to cherish many fond memories: her children: Nazier Jackson, Mychael Hazzard, Nefera Hazzard, and Nefetaree Hazzard; two grandchildren, Nizel and Nazmeer; her mother, Jo-Ann Davis; one brother, Michael Davis; one uncle, Jimmy; aunts: Delores of South Carolina, Jean and Shirley of Detroit, Michigan, Renee of Rochester, New York, and a host of extended family and friends, including special friends, Felicia and Wanda.
