  3. Sam was a kind, giving, wonderful man. I have lived in the same complex with him for 16 years. He was liked by all and loved by many. He loved his dog Jackson, his three legged dog, as much as his family. I will miss Sam knocking on my door at 10:00 PM to give me watermelon. We exchanged food often. I will miss our friendship and sitting in the community room, watching TV with Sam and Jackson, sitting there with his baseball cap on backward. May Sam rest in peace,

  4. To the family members of Cousin Sam, I and the Florida family extend our heartfelt condolences. Though we are all cousins, we will lift up his Children, all grandchildren, greats and siblings in Prayers….Praying ye one for the other.
The news was grievous, saddened our hearts but he will forever live in our hearts and the hearts of those that knew him and loved him. We thank God for everyday that he was given on this earth and for now his eternity has no end….Sam is now Resting In Christ because he give his life to Christ. He told me years ago that he got his life right with God the Savior. For salvation I rejoiced with Cousin Sam in that surrendering.
Family there are no words to make this easy but the Comforter, Our Heavenly Father will give you all the comfort and peace to continue on, just ask and trust God. Sam loved coming to Avon Park visiting, we had great times reminiscing. Oh, yes he will truly be missed!!!!!

  5. My heartfelt condolences to the children, grandchildren, great grands, siblings, and special friends of my cousin Sam. Upon receiving the news of his transitioning it hit hard, because he really loved his family and we all loved him. Not being able to talk with him would be strange but the joy came when I remembered that my cousin got his life in order with God! There’s nothing I can say to soften the hurt or mend broken hearts. So, if we can just Trust God’s Plan and hard on to God’s unchanging hands, we will know the comfort and peace God will give. Weeping may endure for a night but JOy comes in the morning……I don’t know when morning will come for anyone but it’s coming.
Oh, Cousin Sam will missed because was full of family history and loved sharing it. He loved visiting Avon Park and we looked forward to seeing him roll in to stay for a bit.
    Keeping everyone in Prayers 🙏🏽.
    God’s Blessings Abundantly!!!!!
