Steve Allen Foltz, age 57, of Ontario, New York, passed away peacefully on December 6th, 2025.
Steve is lovingly remembered by his parents, Robert and Marie Foltz; his two devoted sons, Leo and Seth; and his nephew, Cody. Steve also leaves behind countless friends who were enriched by his kindness, laughter, generosity, and whose memories of him will last forever.
Steve lived an adventurous life and found joy in off-road motorcycles, muscle cars, cooking, DIY projects, hunting and embracing everything life had to offer. A passionate mechanical engineer. Steve spent many years at Xerox, where he formed life long friends and contributed to two U.S. patents.
Known for his caring nature, Steve loved teaching and sharing his interests with anyone willing to listen – even a stranger. Whether it was cruising in his beloved 1971 Ford Torino with friends or mentoring others in the proper way to ride a dirtbike. Steve’s enthusiasm was contagious. His love for dirt biking was unmatched, and he took great pride in passing on that passion to others.
Above all, Steve was a devoted and supportive father. He loved his sons, took pride in them, and encouraged them along their own paths. He will forever be Leo’s number one fan as he continues to race in the upcoming season.
Steve has been cremated, and his ashes will be spread across the many places he held close to his heart – especially Seneca Lake, dirtbike tracks, and wherever the great outdoors led him. He is now reunited in Heaven with his beloved sister, Karen.
Steve’s legacy of adventure, generosity, and love will live on in all who knew him. There will be a celebration of life in the summer, with more details to come.

I used to cut Steve’s hair for many years, before he was even married and had kids. I kept in touch through FB after leaving the salon and considered him a friend. I am so saddened by his passing but I know he is in a better place. He had a contagious smile and laugh. He will be missed.
This is such a sad and unexpected loss.

We will miss Steven very much.
Please 🙏 accept our condolences and know they we are thinking of you.
