Mother Verleria H. Be’ans, a loving mother, grandmother, and aunt, entered into eternal rest on February 12, 2026. Born on February 23, 1944, in Shreveport, Louisiana, she lived a life marked by quiet strength, deep love, and unwavering devotion to her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Donald Be’ans; her cherished grandchild; and her devoted niece, First Lady Barbara Fluellen, who held a special place in her heart. Mother Be’ans will also be remembered fondly by extended family members, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 21st at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Baptist Church, 397 North Street.
Interment will be private.
