Vickie D. Balkum “Vickie”

Vickie D. Balkum, affectionately known as “Vickie,” passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 71 years old.
Born on November 9, 1953, Vickie was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by her four children: Charles, Pam, Michelle, and Andre; her cherished grandchildren; her beloved mother, Leslie Mae Phillips; and eight siblings. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Vickie’s warmth, strength, and unwavering love touched the lives of many. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Visitation will be Friday, September 26th, from 10-12PM, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at 12PM at Dierna Funeral Home.
