Steve”s light will shine on through all of us that loved him. “Steve”stories are endless and he will continue to make us laugh through the tears.
Soar with the eagles. I will miss you forever.
Steve had such a big heart and would have done anything for anyone. He taught me about cool tunes, sweet rides and how to look like a badass driving a boat. He also taught me what it means to show up for your family. He will be so missed but every year I’ll blow something up on the 4th of July in his honor (or at least try).
Steve used to do something for me everyday. On a workday, he would make breakfast for me, and bring it to me while was getting ready. Then he would go back out and pack me a lunch. When I got home from work, he would greet me in the driveway with the dog, open my door for me (if it wasn’t already open) carry my bags and groceries into the house, and take groceries downstairs for me. When I needed laundry done, he would tell me to put it on the top of the stairs, and he would take it down. (Then he washed and dried it, and brought it back up for me). In the summer he would start my car to have it cooled off for me. In the winter he would stat my car, clean it off, and shovel the sidewalk before I was dressed to help out. He was always helping others, teaching others, and giving to others. He was an organ donor, and he has saved 13 peoples lives so far. With the tissue donations he gave, there are more to come. He also donated his eyes so someone could see. I had the privilege of being married to him for over 40 years, and I am grateful for being a part of such a wonderful family. His side of the family go to their cottage on Keuka Lake and spend wonderful times together. They have a lot of love for each other. I am going to have to somehow learn to live without him, but I am blessed to have so much support from friends and family to help me figure out how to do all the stuff he did. His grandson Mason and him were best friends. I am fortunate to have a wonderful, fun and very funny grandson, and a smart beautiful daughter who is a carbon copy of her Pop, to help me get though the rest of my life without Steve. I will love you Steve, always and forever. Love ya later, till we meet again. ❤️
