January 27, 2022. Loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Predeceased by his wife Nancy J. Pitts Lutterbein, his siblings Marion, John, and Richard, his niece Wendy Devers, and Granddaughter Carolyn Proia. Survived by his children, Mark (Jan), Todd (Carol), Kathryn (Dan Craig); grandchildren, Craig, Brett, Jennifer Lutterbein, Griffin, Alex, Tyrus Lutterbein, Renee, Alicia, Sarah, Devon Proia, Ryan Craig; 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Edward graduated from Edgerton High School Class of 1945. He attended Ohio State University before serving in the army for 2 years. Upon leaving the service, he attended and graduated from Heidelberg College in 1950. He then went on to get his MBA from the University of Wisconsin in 1951. Ed and Nancy moved to Rochester, New York where he had a long and successful career at Eastman Kodak, retiring as Director of Purchasing. He enjoyed wonderful summers in Vermont with his family and friends. Traveling, playing bridge and tennis were among his passions. He was never one to turn down a challenge or a new adventure and was an inspiration to all. His Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, April 2, at 4 PM at the Holy Cross Anglican Church. 615 Bay Rd, Webster, NY 14580. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Upstate NY Chapter or Honor Flight Rochester, PO Box 23581, Rochester, NY 14692.
