Obituary of David Johnson

David B. Johnson was born June 22, 1930, to Mr. Allen & Besa Mae Johnson. David was the youngest of four children. He is preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Eloise Allen, Blanche Jackson, and Nettie B. Leonard.
At a young age, David’s father relocated his family to Utica, NY. At the age of 18, David joined the United States Army, completing his service with an honorable discharge, receiving several medals.
David received his formal training in carpentry after relocating to Rochester, NY where he started his carpentry business. David was a very hard worker serving his family and community – always willing to fix a problem. David was employed and retired from the County Clerk Office in Rochester after 25 years of service.
David led a very simple life. He loved being around his family, having cookouts and holiday meals. His eyes lit up and he giggled a lot when the grandchildren came to visit – that really completed him.
David leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife Vivian Felder-Johnson; 6 children, Blanch Johnson, David (Colleen) Johnson, Denise Johnson, Vera Haygood, David (Denise) Johnson, and Tasha Harris, all of Rochester, NY; 5 step-children, Roderick (DaDawn) Rainey, Audrey (Ronald) Hobbs), Devar Felder, Adrian Felder, and Brittany Felder, all of Rochester, NY; 16 grandchildren; a very special grandson Christopher (Celeste) Stanbeck of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special neighbors Lance, John, Tony, Mary, Camaron, Lisa, Denise, Kathy, and Tom.

A service for David will be held Wednesday, August 9th, from11AM – 1PM at Dierna Funeral Home.

Manfred Klein

The loving father of Ellen Klein, departed peacefully on July 30, 2023. He was predeceased by his wife Lydia. He will be especially missed by his brother-in-law Ted, niece Mary Ann, nephew Joseph, and his special friend Trudy. He loved his family, his work, his garden, his artwork, his German Shepherds, and he loved to dance. Please remember him in your prayers. His memorial service will be on Tuesday, August 22nd, at 11:30AM at Mount Hope Cemetery, 1133 Mt. Hope Ave.,14620. It will take place at the North entrance by the spreading garden.

Born December 12,1928 Johnstown PA. Predeceased by her husband Robert and son Barry.
Survived by children Cindy (Tom) Knapp, Bart, and Steven (Danielle); grandchildren Cheryl (Mitch), Kristin, Leah Ruth, Maxwell (Dominique), and Hunter; 3 great-grandchildren.
Mom always sacrificed her needs for the good of the family. She will be remembered as a selfless, altruistic wife and mother, generous to all that came in contact with her. She never complained and always looked to a better future. God has called her home, she will be greatly missed.

Services will be held privately.

Helen Theodor

Helen passed peacefully on Saturday, July 22nd at St. John’s Home.
She is survived by her nephew Erik Rhodes and his daughter Eva, and her Godchild, Mandy.
Born in Rochester, she attended Franklin Highschool. Helen worked at Dr. Aquavella’s office, Planned Parenthood and General Dynamics. Helen enjoyed music – Elvis and Sinatra, and spending time with family and friends.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10AM at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (962 East Ave. Rochester). Interment Webster Rural Cemetery.

71, of Rochester, NY, passed away on July 17, 2023 after a 4 year battle with lung cancer.
Maureen was predeceased by her Parents, Elmer and Maxine Hahn; and Nephew Ricardo, Jr. She is survived by her siblings, Richard (Cathy), John, Edward and Alice (Cesar) Torres; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, an Aunt and an Uncle.

Obituary of Thomas C. Delgudico

Thomas Charles Delgudico
A longtime resident of Rochester NY, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 18th, at the age of 69.
He is predeceased by his parents Arthur & Jean Delgudico. He is survived by his wife Marion; brothers Arthur Delgudico and Gene Delgudico; sister Francine (Lewis) Cucchiara; nieces Lauren (Matt) Gauvin and Alisha Delgudico; nephews Lewis (Livia) Cuccharia and Michael Cuccharia;  great nieces and nephews, and many loving family and friends.
Tommy was born in Rochester, NY on November 5, 1953, to Arthur & Jean. He was a graduate of Athena High School, Class of 1972. He found a passion with jazz music in both in performing with his brother Arthur and in enjoying the music.
Tommy was a devoted family member who will be missed by all who knew him.
Services will be announced at a future date.

Nancy Virginia Sanchez

Nancy went into the loving arms of her heavenly father on May 24, 2023. She lived a life of strong faith and conviction. She loved the Lord with all her heart. She is survived by her father Clarence Coeyman and Brother Dale (Cherrie), Daughter Angel Vines, Grandson Timothy Melvin (Hope), Great Granddaughter Naomie Grace, Granddaughter Destine Vines and many friends. She was predeceased by her Mother Carolyn Morton Coeyman, Stepmother Helen Coeyman, Brothers Clarence Jr., Thomas, Paul and Eugene.

A celebration of her life was held at The Vineyard Christian Church, 2150 Portland Avenue.

2 Corinthians 5:1-6 and John 11:25-27 tell us that God has a new house in heaven for Nancy as well as a new body.

 Elizabeth Jane Febrey

July 1, 2023 after a long illness. Predeceased by parents, Frank and Virginia Febrey, brothers Paul & Phil, and sister Mary Russo. She is survived by her brother Frank, sister Virginia DePonzio, and many nieces & nephews. Special thanks to friend and caregiver Barbara Weaver.
Her funeral mass will be Friday, July 7th at 10:30AM at St. Rita’s Church. Interment Webster Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the American Lung Association.

Yaritza “Spencer” Spencer”

Predeceased by her father specialist Branden J. Spencer. Survived by her grandmother Carmen Gonzalez, mother Wendy Velez, stepmother Lecia Rodriguez Rivas and siblings Gia Norea Spencer, Kayla J. Spencer, Brian J. Spencer and Kalianee Velez.

Spencer was full of life and never failed to make the ones around her feel loved. She was unapologetically herself, and for that she’ll always be remembered.
